This relatively new committee continues its work to introduce, support, and elevate young surgeons through our society. In 2022, the Young Surgeons Committee (YSC) moderated a panel session by our peers presenting videos of their work on innovative surgical techniques. This fall we will present a webinar discussing and debating models of mentorship as a kickoff to our society wide mentorship program. More

The goal of the CSA Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee is to better understand DEI issues within the association and implement strategies that will have a positive impact on the membership. The DEI Committee is asking for your help. Please update your CSA membership profile with your demographic information, and consider applying or encouraging colleagues to apply for the CSA’s Travel Scholarship for Historically and Intentionally Excluded Populations, by January 31, 2023.
